Mr. L. C. Pinkerton, United States Ambassador in the Levant States, has arrived in Jerusalem. His visit coincides with fresh discussions regarding the future status of Jerusalem.

The hearing of Mr. F. W. Sylvester’s appeal, before the Israeli Supreme Court in Jerusalem, against the sentence of seven years’ imprisonment passed by the Jerusalem district court, has been fixed for November 3.
